Going…going…going…gone?

Just a heads up from your favorite mascot, 801-chan! All good things must come to an end and a couple of the 801 Media books are almost sold out of their print runs! So if you were waiting for that perfect sale or perfect opportunity to pick up a certain title, don’t wait too much longer or you may miss out on these great gems.
Now, don’t get too worked up about it or start posting crazy things all over the internet. Just 801 Media Inc.’s philosophy is to print the life of our books up front cuz they are really pricey! So I am not going to list specific titles that are getting to be in short supply in order to avoid wide spread panic. I will just say that if you have been procrastinating on picking up some of our early 2007 titles - titles that may or may not have been released in March, April and August 2007 - you might want to hop to it! Once these babies are gone, you are going to be stuck buying them off ebay or learning Japanese!
These books may be in stock for another year, or we might get a huge order from our distributor tomorrow and mail out the last few books. But there are only a few hundred copies left at the 801 warehouse. So… procrastinate at your own risk!

The only title I need to pick up is Ichigenme 2. I’ve been procrastinating about getting it. I don’t know about getting LILAH 2, though. I’ll just save my money for upcoming 801 Media books. Plus, other companies are coming out with new releases, so its hard to put my money in one specific place of the industry when I only have so much.

For the most part, no… Our minimum print run is pretty high, so unless we have thousands of copies on backorder it doesn’t make financial sense to reprint them. And with our initial print runs, the chances of that happening are pretty slim. So once they are gone… ebay is your only friend.

Holy city-in-the-clouds-on-a-stick! So it’s either eBay or whatever bookstore or comic book store or (the Maker forbid) book stores at anime convention who’ll have those titles. People will have to pry my precious books from my cold dead hands.
Worse comes to worst, the whole world will have to learn Japanese. *dorky laugh*

Ha, I’m glad I have almost every title you ever released.. There are only 2 bokks I don’t have, and that’s becuase I don’t like the authors. Now, be proud of me. XD

As I said, the books might be around for a while yet. Just when I compared the number of copies sold vs. the number of copies we printed…. >_< The numbers are starting to get close. So if you really, really, really, really want them, you might want to pick them up sooner rather than later…

Every single title that 801 Media has released is (are?) such a fine addition to my collection. I’m looking forward to more and I’m so glad that the books have sold to this point. 801 Media is doing awesome!

Yay! We are awesome!! We are definitely trying really, really hard! Now if only we could get a good strong Eastern wind across the Pacific! These boats need to move faster!!
