I know I have said this a thousand times, but I figure once more won’t hurt! Thanks to everyone who came out to the 801 Media Inc. party, 801 Media Inc. Industry panel and our tiny corner of the DMP booth. We had a great time and we loved all the goodies and gifts that you all brought us. The little mice were adorable (but I am still a FOX!!!) and the penis shaped candles will be a nice addition to our 801 Media Inc. shrine. (Boyzrule and Render were really excited when we came home with them!) Stay tuned for the upcoming coverage of all 3 days, along with other announcements and news.

Waaaaaaaah! I just got back in the office this morning and there are like 70 pending orders on the 801 Media Inc. store!!! Wow! I guess our sale was a big hit. You all came out of the woodwork for this one. I had to beg Kampai and Tomo-chan to help me get out all the orders on this one. So as a general broadcast to everyone who ordered, all of your orders shipped! It might take a day or two for you to get your email notification. I am going through the stack as quickly as possible.

Yaoi Con is only a few days away and the staff member of 801 Media Inc. would like to invite you all to our “sweet” party this Friday. Come by for food and drinks in a low-key (but not PC) atmosphere. The party starts at 10pm in Suite 1152. (Course, the room number is subject to change without notice. So look for the shaved ice sign on the door.)

A ticket is not required for admission. But we think they are cute! So, look for us handing them out on Friday!

Yay! Yaoi Con has posted the schedule for the weekend! Be sure to stop by the 801 Media Inc./ June Manga Joint Panel first thing Saturday morning at 10:00am in Main Events Room A (Convene 1). We posted this in the forums, but I don’t remember if I put it on the blog or not… Kampai needs to start cracking the whip on the production department. Love Circumstances, one of our January books, is going to be a little late, but The King of Debt, one of our February books, is going to be a little early. So we are just going to switch them.

So for January 2008 you can expect Youka Nitta’s The Prime Minister’s Secret Diplomacy and Sanae Rokuya’s The King of Debt. And for February 2008 you can expect Shiuko Kano’s Maybe I’m Your Steppin Stone and Aco Oumi’s Love Circumstances. All of them are great books, so you should definitely check them out. And sorry about the delay on Love Circumstances, but at least you won’t be short on yaoi for the month of January!!!
